Foundation Row Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 69 (75, 81) sc. Ch 1, turn. Beg with Row 1, work in pat until piece measures 5 (6, 6)" from beg, end WS. Shape pocket: Next row (RS) Work in pat to within last 12 sts, turn (leaving these 12 sts unworked hereafter). Note Mark this edge for decs. Keeping to pat, dec 1 st at marked edge every row 11 (14, 17) times - 46 (49, 52) sts. Work even in pat until Right Front measures 11 (12, 12)" from beg, ending on WS.

PATTERN STITCH

Foundation Row Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 1
Sc in first sc, *ch 1, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc; rep from * to end. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2 Sc in first sc, *sc in next ch-1 space, ch 1, skip next sc; rep from * ending sc in next ch-1 space, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3 Sc in first sc, *ch 1, skip next sc, sc in next ch-1 space; rep from *, ending ch 1, skip 1 sc, sc in last sc. Ch 1, turn.

Rep Rows 2 and 3 for pat.

BACK

Ch 70 (76, 82).

Foundation Row Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 69 (75, 81) sc. Ch 1, turn. Beg with Row 1, work in pat until piece measures 21 (23, 25)" from beg. Note Make sure to take all measurements hanging weight: Hang piece for several hours to allow for proper measurement. Shape armholes Keeping to pat, slip st across 3 sts, work in pat to last 3 sts, turn. Dec 1 st each end every other row 3 times - 57 (63, 69) sts. Work even in pat until armholes measure 9 (9½, 10½)". Fasten off.

RIGHT FRONT (including full pocket and collar)

Ch 70 (76, 82) [Note These numbers are correct].

Row Work 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 69 (75, 81) sc. Ch 1, turn. Beg with Row 1, work in pat until piece measures 5 (6, 6)" from beg, end WS. Shape pocket: Next row (RS) Work in pat to within last 12 sts, turn (leaving these 12 sts unworked hereafter). Note Mark this edge for decs. Keeping to pat, dec 1 st at marked edge every row 11 (14, 17) times - 46 (49, 52) sts. Work even in pat until Right Front measures 11 (12, 12)" from beg, ending on WS. Shape neck: Next row (RS) Work to last 14 sts, dec 1, place marker, work last 12 sts. Working 12 collar sts even, dec 1 st at marker every 3 rows 13 times (after marker on RS rows and before MARKER on WS rows); AT THE SAME TIME, when piece measures 21 (23, 25)" from beg, shape armhole same as back - 26 (29, 32) sts. Work even until armhole measures 9 (9½, 10½)" from beg, ending WS. Cont on 12 collar sts only for another 5" or until collar reaches center back of neck. Fasten off.

LEFT FRONT (including full pocket and collar)
Work as for Right Front, rev shaping.

SLEEVES
Cuff:
Ch 12.
Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across - 11 sc. Ch 1, turn.
Row 2 Sc-tbl (through back loop) in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. Rep Row 2 until cuff measures 9" slightly stretched. Fasten off. Work 41 sc evenly spaced along one long edge of cuff. Keeping to pat, inc 1 st each end of every 3rd row 11 (13, 15) times - 63 (67, 71) sts. Work even until sleeve measures 22" from beg or desired length. Fasten off.

FINISHING

With WS facing, sew front to back at shoulders. Turn pocket and collar to RS as pictured [Note Each front piece is doubled back on itself at bottom , and lower side seam is three thicknesses.] Sew side seams through all thicknesses (including pocket). With RS of collar facing, sew collar along center back neck. Fold the RS of collar along the WS of back and sew invisibly along back neck. Sew sleeve seams, taking care to sew cuff invisibly for turning to RS. Set in sleeves, easing in fullness. With RS facing, work 1 row of sc along Left Front pocket edge, around entire collar and along Right Front pocket edge.
